Kristian Chanel
Our third Woman of The Week features a woman with an incredible work ethic and an amazing mindset. Her accomplishments prove that anything is possible with hard work and dedication. After graduating from Peabody High School, she went on to attend Edinboro University. In 2012, Kristian received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Law. After completing her educational journey, she decided to pursue entrepreneurship. Having a strong interest in Fashion, Kristian opened up a clothing boutique (Room 412) in 2013. Over the last few years, she has built a strong clientele and one of the most popular online boutiques in the city! While maintaining her role as a business owner, she decided to take on the role as an Advisor at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh back in 2015. This is where I had the opportunity to work with Kristian, and see her determination and drive on a daily basis. Shortly after leaving her position at the The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she decided to start another business, a daycare called "Kristian Kares". While maintaining two businesses, she's also a new mother of one (Monroe). Kristian shows us that you can accomplish anything that you are truly committed to!
